Debut Twins, Sachin Tendulkar and Waqar Younis forget Indo-Pak tensions to celebrate historic day
Waqar Younis bagged 4 wickets for 91 including that of bowling Tendulkar out for 15 off 24 balls.
New Delhi: 27 years ago today, India's Sachin Tendulkar and Pakistan's Waqar Younis made their Test debuts for respective countries.
The two legends of cricket greeted each other on twitter on this historic day.
Waqar Younis tweeted, "'Time gone quickly' On this day 27 years ago Me & the Great Sachin Tendulkar made a debut at Karachi. Photos bring back all the wonderful memories"
Sachin replied, "Playing for the country was always a dream. What a memorable moment it was! Time has flown quickly indeed, but you weren't any slower either:

Waqar Younis bagged 4 wickets for 91 including that of bowling Tendulkar out for 15 off 24 balls with the other three being Sanjay Manjrekar, Manoj Prabhakar and Kapil Dev.
