FIR filed against Sakshi Singh Dhoni, three others in multi-crore fraud case
There has been no confirmation from Sakshi regarding the incident.
New Delhi: A FIR has been filed against Sakshi Dhoni, who is the wife of India's limited-overs skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
The FIR has been filed by Denis Arora against Sakshi and three others under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) Section 420 in a fraud case.
Arora has alleged that he bought shares in Rhiti MSD Almode Pvt. Ltd., a firm directed by Sakshi Dhoni and Arun Pandey, Shubhawati Pandey and Pratima Pandey, has shares in Sportsfit World, a gym and fitness center, which in turn, is co-directed by Arora.
According to several reports, it is learnt that Dennis Arora also had 39 percent shares in the same fitness center, which he later sold to the directors of Rhiti MSD Almode.
After the shares transfer, an agreement between the two parties was signed and as per that the directors of Rishti MSD Almode, including Sakshi, were required to pay an amount of Rs. 11 Crore to Arora by March 31 this year.
Arora has now said that so far he has received an amount of Rs 2.25 crore.
While there has been no confirmation from Sakshi regarding the incident, Arun Pandey, one of the partners in Rishti MSD Almode Pvt. Ltd., according to daily.bhaskar.com, has said that Sakshi Dhoni is no more part of the company as she left last year so no FIR can be filed against her.
Pandey also said that they have paid more amount than the shares that were allotted to Arora.
Police is currently said to be investigating the matter.
