It was earlier reported that the former India captain will not ben attending the third Test match, which was played at his hometown, due to his engagements with the Jharkhand's Vijay Hazare Trophy team.


Luckily of unluckily, Jharkhand lost the semi-final of the domestic 50-overs tournament to Bengal, and Dhoni left for Ranchi last Saturday.

The match ended in a tame draw despite all the on-field flare-ups, to leave the four-match series tied at 1-1.


The fourth and final match of the series will be played at Dharamsala, starting March 25.
