#IPL2017: Parthiv Patel and Jos Buttler engage in Twitter banter amid preparations
Mumbai Indians will be taking on Rising Pune Supergiants, on Thursday, at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune.
New Delhi: Amid all the tension and anxiety a day ahead of the 10th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), two members of Mumbai Indians - Parthiv Patel and Jos Buttler, on Tuesday, took on Twitter for a few exchange of witty remarks.
Early Tuesday morning, the Mumbai-based team posted a video of their wicket-keeping drill on Twitter. The video featured the England batsman Jos Buttler trying to strike the ball with the edge of his bat, while Parthiv is seen standing behind, clutching on to the missed deliveries.
Moments later after the video was posted, probably after being done with the evening drill, Buttler reacted to the post saying, "@parthiv9 appealing for everything as usual!"
And almost immediately, the 32-year-old replied to Buttler's tweet saying, "And u were keep hitting the edge of the bat as usual.."
Funny, surely! Always good to see when players do try to keep it aside all their tension at times.
