Known for his exploits in Kolkata, the Mumbai captain took on the challenge and started playing free-flowing strokes.


In the seventh over, the India opener lofted his national team-mate Yadav for a huge six over long-on. Looking at his swing, it's safe to assume that Rohit was in some touch.


The manner in which Rohit dismissed that length ball, it looked as if he was waiting to attack.

Rohit, 30, however failed to last long as he departed in the ninth over, trapped in front by Ankit Rajpoot. Rohit made 27 off 21 balls.
