In the match against Delhi Daredevils on Friday, Dhoni first produced two catches behind the stumps and then a lightning fast stumping to send Shreyas Iyer, Marlon Samuels and Cory Anderson packing, respectively, to help Pune restrict Delhi to a total of 168 by the end of 20 overs. With his work behind the stumps against DD, Mahi has taken his IPL dismissals tally to 102.

The former India captain, who had a hand in 3 of the 8 Daredevils' wickets, could have added another special dismissal to his list of magical run-outs, when he tried to slide one throw onto the stumps as Pat Cummins tried to steal a double.

Cummins was struggling to make it to the crease in time as Dhoni tried to divert a throw from Jaydev Unadkat, right on the stumps, but it just wasn't meant to happen this time.

Chasing 169, Manoj Tiwary was RPS' most in form batsman with the bat as he raised the hopes of the visitors with a 45-ball 60, laced with five boundaries and three sixes, but he just couldn't guide the team past 161, as Pune ended their journey seven runs short of Delhi's total.
