Latest Updates

  • Royal Challengers Bangalore have beaten Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets. AB de Villiers wins it single-handedly in the end. With 35 runs needed from 12 balls, it was Rajasthan's game to lose but Unadkat bowls a horrific penultimate over, giving away 25 runs. AB de Villiers hit three consecutive sixes on the opening three balls which turned the tide completely in RCB's favor. With just 10 needed from Archer's final over, de Villiers finishes it off in just 4 balls with a huge six to wrap up a memorable victory. RCB: 179/3 (19.4 Overs)

  • Wonderful bowling from Rajasthan. Unadkat gives away just nine runs in his third over while Kartik Tyagi mounts further pressure with only 10 runs from his final over. 35 needed from 12 balls. RCB: 143/3 (18 Overs)

  • AB de Villiers and Gurkeerat Mann are now at the crease. They need all the big hits from de Villiers now. The South African gives a short glimpse to prove that he is upto the task with a huge pull for six against Archer. RCB: 124/3 (16 Overs)

  • OUT!! HUGE WICKET!! Two wickets in two balls. Virat Kohli is gone, dismissed by youngster Kartik Tyagi. After taking the wicket on the previous ball, Tewatia takes a wonderful catch on the first ball of the next over at the deep midwicket fence. Kohli had whipped the ball which was angling into him but Tewatia stops the ball, leaps over the boundary and then hops back inside to complete a thrilling catch. What a match winner this guy is. Just like Rajasthan, now RCB have lost two wickets in two balls. RR: 104/3 (14 Overs)

  • OUT!! WICKET!! Padikkal is dismissed by Rahul Tewatia on the final ball of his spell. Padikkal was looking scrappy today and it is perhaps for the better of RCB that he is gone. He had tried to go for a big pull but was too tired to put the energy behind it and is caught out by Stokes. Padikkal made 35 off 37 balls. RCB: 102/2 (13 Overs)

  • Kohli is well set now and RCB would fancy their chances from here. Rajasthan need a wicket here if they want the crucial two points. 86 runs needed from 48 balls. RCB: 92/1 (12 Overs)

  • Very good from Kohli and Padikkal. They are taking quick singles and also ensuring that the run-rate doesn't out of hand with some smart boundaries. Kohli is looking in good touch now as he hits a pull for six against Shreyas Gopal. RCB: 77/1 (10 Overs)

  • Good cricket going on but Rajasthan have the dge at the moment. Unadkat is doing well to take the pace off the ball and has given away just 12 runs in his opening two overs. Rahul Tewatia is operating from the other end. RCB: 55/1 (8 Overs)

  • Kohli has started steady and is rotating the strike well. Padikkal on the other end is well set now and is taking on the bowlers. He hits two consecutive fours off Kartik Tyagi's opening over. RCB: 47/1 (6 Overs)

  • OUT!! WICKET!! Aaron Finch is dismissed by leggie Shreyas Gopal. He tried to go for the slog sweep but ends up slashig the ball straight up. Robin Uthappa completes the catch at mid-off. Finch would be disappointed here. He was looking very good - he had hit Archer for two wonderful sixes in the last over. Virtat Kohli is the new man in. RCB: 27/1 (4 Overs)

  • Good start from the Rajasthan bowlers. Finch and Padikkal didn't do anything out of the box in the first two overs and rotated the strike. Archer gave away just 3 runs in his opening over while leggie Shreyas Gopal went for six. RCB: 9/0 (2 Overs)

  • Devdutt Padikkal and Aaron Finch will open the innings for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Rajasthan Royals' Jofra Archer. RCB: 0/0 (0 Overs)

  • Rajasthan Royals have posted a solid total of 177-6 against Royal Challengers Bangalore. 15 runs came off Isuru Udana's penultimate over - The Sri Lankan proving very expensive today. Chris Morris, though, bowled a fantastic final over to make amends. He picked-up two wickets in that over and gave away just four runs. A fantastic spell it was from Morris and he returns with excellent figures of 4-0-26-4. It is still a very good total from Rajasthan. RR: 177/6 ( 20 Overs)

  • Fifty for Smith. Wonderful innings from him. Took sometime to get set and then started to go for his shots. What a player. He hits three fours of Chahal - 18 runs came from that. Chahal didn't really help matters by bowling two no balls in his final over. RR: 158/4 (18 Overs)

  • OUT!! WICKET!! Chris Morris removes the danger-man Jos Buttler. It was rising short ball outside the off-stump which was slashed by Buttler - who was going for a pull. The ball goes straight-up and Navdeep Saini takes the catch at mid-off. RR: 133/4 ( 16 Overs)

  • Smith and Buttler stay steady at the crease but they are not hitting those big one's. They need a lot of them and with just 6 overs left, they don't have musch time left. Sundar and Navdeep Saini are now back into the attack. RR: 108/3 (14 Overs)

  • Very good from the RCB spin duo of Shahbaz Ahmed and Chahal. They have really tightened the screws in there and the tracks in UAE are clearly slowing down now - as was predicted before the tournament. Only 27 runs have come off the last four overs. Smith and Buttler are at the crease and don't have much time left to launch those fireworks. RR: 96/3 (12 Overs)

  • OUT!! WICKET!! Robin Uthappa and Sanju Samson depart on consecutive balls. It's Yuzvendra Chahal who had done the damage. RCB are right-back into the game now. They have picked-up three quick wickets. Chahal bowls an excellent first over - gives away just 7 runs and takes two wickets. Very well fligted ball it was to Uthappa who tried to go big but loops it straight-up to Finch at deep mid-wicket. Samson tried to go inside out on the very next ball and hits it straight to Chris Morris at long off. RR: 76/3 (9 Overs)

  • OUT!! WICKET!! Ben Stokes is out caught behind. It was a well directed short ball from Morris. Stokes is early into the shot and the ball meets the tow end of the bat and straight into keeper de Villiers gloves. Sanju Samson is the new man in.  RR: 52/1 (6 Overs)

  • Robin Uthappa is on fire right now. He has raced away to 31 from just 15 balls. He hits a brilliant four and then a six of Isuru Udana's first over  (4th of the iinings). Navdeep Saini bowls a tight fifth over to make amends. RR: 47/0 (5 Overs)

  • Wonderful from Robin Uthappa. He hits four fours of the wily Washington Sundar's second over. He came inside the line of the ball and middled the ball over squar-leg for four. Has the seasoned cricketer finally found his right batting position ? RR: 21/0 (3 Overs)

  • Very good start from RCB bowlers. Washington Sundar gives away just two runs in the opening over while Chris Morris continues on the good start by conceding just three runs. No getaway for the Rajasthan opening pair. RR: 5/0 (2 Overs)

  • Ben Stokes and Robin Uthappa will open Rajasthan Royals' innings against Royal Challengers Bangalore's Washington Sundar. RR: 0/0 (0 Overs)

Another surprise: Rajasthan Royals have sent Robin Uthappa to open the innings now.

  • Royal Challengers Bangalore playing XI: A Finch, D Padikkal, V Kohli (C), AB de Villiers, GM Singh, W Sundar, C Morris, S Ahmed, I Udana, N Saini, Y Chahal

Two changes for RCB. Gurkeerat Mann comes in Mohammad Siraj while Shahbaz Ahmed makes his debut in place of Shivam Dube

  • Rajasthan Royals playing XI: B Stokes, J Buttler, S Smith (C), S Samson, R Uthappa, R Parag, R Tewatia, J Archer, S Gopal, J Unadkat, K Tyagi

    No changes for Rajasthan
