KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are set to begin their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season against Delhi Capitals (DC) in a home game on April 1. Their first away game will be against MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on April 3. Rahul's team are along with Mumbai Indians (MI), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), and Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Group A of the IPL 2023. The Lucknow franchise had a fair debut season in the IPL 2022 as they qualified for the playoffs but suffered a defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Eliminator clash.
