Ravichandran Ashwin wishes Yasir Shah to break his record of becoming fastest Asian bowler to reach 100 Test wickets

New Delhi: Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin won massive praise from the cricketing fraternity after he produced yet another match-winning performance in a Test series recently.
The veteran offie, who has been in sublime form in the last two years, bowled his heart out against the Kiwis in the three-match Test series - where he scalped 27 wickets from six innings.
Ashwin ended the series on a high with a 13-wicket haul in the final Test played at Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. He was adjudged not only the Man of the Match, but he also bagged his seventh Man of the Series award.

Noted Pakistani sports journalist Faizan Lakhani on Wednesday posted a tweet where he reminded the cricket fans that Yasir Shah was just five wickets away from breaking Ashwin's record of becoming the fastest Asian spinner to reach 100 Test wickets.
Ashwin responded to the tweet with a brilliant message that read, "good luck,may the force be with him.He is such a delight to watch."
With that brilliant gesture, Ashwin for sure has made thousands of more fans.
Yasir has 95 wickets to his credit from 16 Tests, and is only five wickets away from becoming the quickest from Asia to reach the 100 wickets milestone. Ashwin completed 100 wickets in his 18th Test match.
