New Delhi: South Africa defeated Australia by four wickets in one of the most brilliant chases in history of ODIs on Tuesday.

Batting first, Australia posted a formidable 372 runs on board, after centuries from David Warner (117) and skipper Steve Smith (108).

In reply, the hosts were in a precarious position having lost six wickets for just 265 runs.

When many thought that the match was all but over, David Miller and Andile Phehlukwayo launched an unbelievable counter-attack to stun the Aussies.

Miller took the onus on his shoulders to do most of the scoring and went on to hit unbeaten 118 runs off just 79 balls.
