After captain Prithvi Shaw (94), Manjot Kalra (86) and Shubman Gill (63) took India to 328/7 in 50 overs, fast bowlers Kamlesh Nagarkoti (3/29) and Shivam Mavi (3/45) got in on the act and helped the team bowl out the Aussies for 228 runs in the 43rd over.

While it was indeed a complete team performance, Nagarkoti and Mavi got extra eyeballs as both bowlers generated some serious pace. Nagarkoti clocked 146.8 kmph as his fastest delivery and Mavi wasn't far behind at 144.5 kmph. Both bowlers comfortably averaged over 140 kmph in the match.

The seriousness of their pace wasn't lost on anyone but former India opener Virender Sehwag in particular looked impressed as he took to Twitter to congratulate the team following the win.

International Cricket Council (ICC) too took notice of the performance of the fast-bowling duo on Twitter.

India's hunt for genuine fast bowlers has been going on for years now, and fans will definitely take a lot of heart from what they saw from Nagarkoti and Mavi on Sunday.
