New Delhi: Australia captain Steve Smith on Thursday hit his 16th hundred to help his team score 288/3 at the close of day 1 of the pink-ball first Test against Pakistan at Brisbane.
But the 27-year-old was caught behind while on 97, off the fourth ball of the 81st over bowled by Mohammad Amir.
Smith nicked one, and Sarfraz Ahmed took it cleanly after diving on his right, but no Pakistan players had a clue. No appeal and Smith wasn't one to walk when on at 97.
Here's what his batting partner Peter Handscomb at non-striker's end has to say about it.
