The cricketing ties between the two countries might have been stalled for the time being, but the fans were thouroughly entertained whenever these two teams met in the past.

From Venkatesh Prasad vs Aamir Sohail to Gautam Gambhir vs Shahid Afridi - there have been numerous on-field clashes between players from both teams, which added a lot of fire to the high-voltage encounters.

One such incident took place in Asia Cup 2010 between Shoaib Akhtar and Harbhajan Singh.

Batting first, Pakistan had put 267 runs on board. India needed 16 runs to win off the final two overs with Suresh Raina and Harbhajan at the crease.

Shoaib Akhtar bowled the penultimate over, where Suresh Raina smashed him for a Six first ball. Bhajji too attempted to play a pull shot off the last ball, a bouncer, but failed to connect.

Akhtar immediately went to Harbhajan and the two exchanged a few heated words.

Pressure increased on Harbhajan after Raina was dismissed in the final over, with India still needing six runs to win off four balls.

India needed three runs off the final two balls when Bhajji connected well off Amir's penultimate ball and hammered it over midwicket for a Six!

The Turbanator roared and looked back at Akhtar, who looked quite embarassed.
