New Delhi: Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar on Tuesday launched the anthem for his upcoming biopic - Sachin: A Billion Dreams’. At an event, along with legendary music composer A R Rahman, the batting maestro shared a few details about the chant 'Sachin Sachin.'

The anthem, titled as ‘Hind Mere Jind’ is a song which will give goosebumps to every Indian who has seen Tendulkar bat.

Rahman said that composing the music for the song was a challenging task for him.


“I hope that this musical ode to fans of Sachin matches up to Sachin’s magical performances on the field. Creating the soundtrack for the film has been a memorable experience,” he said.


"Sachin: A Billion Dreams" will see the cricketer in the lead role. The film is directed by James Erskine and produced by Ravi Bhagchandka with a touch of Oscar winning music composer A.R. Rahman.


The movie will hit the theatres on May 26, 2017.
