WATCH: When Matthew Renshaw left everybody surprised by `retiring ill` on Day 1 of India-England Test
Matthew Renshaw left spectators as well as commentators surprised as he rushed towards the dressing room after Australia lost the wicket of David Warner.
Pune: Australian batsman Matthew Renshaw put into his team in a spot of bother when he retired ill in the middle of the match on the opening day of the first Test match between India and Australia at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.
The incident happened immediately after Indian pacer Umesh Yadav bowled a brilliant inswinger to get rid of Australian opener David Warner. While Steve Smith was walking towards the pitch, he was astonished to see Renshaw leaving the field as well.
Both Smith and Renshaw had a small chat after which the latter once again spoke to the umpire and rushed off the field.
Everybody, including the commentators, were surprised to see such an incident, which looked one of its kind.

Renshaw later resumed his innings and went on to score 68 runs before become R Ashwin's second victim.
