Yesterday, the police were informed about a girl going missing from northwest Delhi's Keshavpuram, they said.

Locals told the police that they had seen the girl going with a drunk man, the police said.

Eight teams comprising police personnel from Keshavpuram, Ashok Vihar and Bharat Nagar police stations, were constituted to search for the girl, they said.

She was subsequently found near Gufa Wala Mandir on Lawrence Road at 5 pm. The drunk man was not with her, the police said.

It is suspected that the man got scared after learning that the police were looking for him and left the girl near the temple, they said.
