New Delhi: Two low intensity earthquakes, having epicentre in Haryana, jolted Delhi, National Capital Region (NCR) and some parts of north India in the wee hours of Friday.

According to reports, the tremors of the first quake which lasted for nearly one minute were felt around 4:28 am. The tremors woke up many in Delhi and neighbouring areas in the wee hours.


According to the US Geological Survey, the epicentre of the first earthquake was in Gohana, Haryana.


Hours later, a second tremor of 3.2 intensity was also felt in Rohtak at 8:13 am at a depth of 10 kms. 


However, there were no reports of any loss of life and property.
