Key features of Hamsafar train you will enjoy during overnight journeys

New Delhi: Indian Railways is set to launch Hamsafer train which is being touted as state-of-the-art.

Here are the key features that will make you fall in love with the train and would like to make it your hamsafar for all your train travels on the route:

-The train will have 19 coaches, all of which will have III AC facilities.

-The Hamsafar train on Anand Vihar-Gorakhpur route will be tri-weekly, rest of the nine Hamsafar trains will be a weekly service.

-The train will have LED screen display to show information about stations, train speed and will have announcement system as well.

-The train facilities will include vending machines for tea, coffee and milk, hot and refrigerated pantry.

-Each cabin will have ports for charging electronic devices such as mobiles and laptops.

-Every berth will have more features like CCTV, GPS-based passenger information system, integrated braille displays. fire and smoke detection and suppression system.

-Bio toilets in compartments

-The exterior of Hamsafar coaches will have vinyl sheets similar to Maharaja Express coaches. 

-Fare prices will be 20-30 percent more than the normal trains and are likely to have dynamic pricing in fares.

-The main stations touched on the route include Lucknow and Kanpur
