President, PM greet people on `Raksha Bandhan`

In his message, the President said raksha bandhan is a very important festival and a happy event where 'unity of minds' in the real sense prevails among brothers and sisters leading to unity in the families, unity in the state and finally in the Nation.
Mr Vajpayee, in his message, said the festival symbolised the lndian concept of strong family ties and pervaded through all communities and religions. May the threads of 'rakhi' strengthen the bonds of harmony, unity and brotherhood among all the countrymen, he added. Bureau Report
