Kolkata, July 16: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee arrived here yesterday night from Pune after attending the funeral of the former RSS chief, Rajendra Singh. Vajpayee would inaugurate the 150th anniversary celebrations of the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He was received at the N S Bose International Airport by West Bengal governor Viren J Shah, chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee and Union ministers of state Tapan Sikdar, Satyabrata Mukherjee.
Vajpayee accompanied by union human resources development minister Murli Monahar Joshi drove straight to the Raj Bhavan.

He is also expected to meet the delegations of the BJP and the NDA ally Trinamool Congress at Raj Bhavan in the afternoon before flying back to New Delhi.
