Mar,21: Michael Chang delayed his Miami farewell with a 6-2 6-2 victory over Nicolas Kiefer in the first round of the Nasdaq-100 Open in Key Biscayne.
The American's 62-minute victory sets up a meeting with countryman Andre Agassi, the defending champion, on Saturday.
Chang, 31, who became the youngest Grand Slam champion at 17 years and three months when he won the 1989 French Open, is set to retire at the end of this season.

"I served well tonight and he wasn't getting a whole lot of returns back," said Chang, who will end his 17-year senior career at the US Open in August. "It's nice to win a match like this. I either do very well here or very badly. I'm very excited about playing Andre.
"I always find it hard against him and hopefully he finds it hard against me."
