Kohima, May 07: Repolling at the Yali polling station under Noksen assembly constituency of Tuensang district in Nagaland began at 0700 hours this morning. Election office sources said repolling started with a low turnout, but polling is expected to pick up as the day advances. The election department of Nagaland had forwarded recommendations of repolling in five stations in the Tuensang and Phek district in the state to the Election Commission of India. The commission yesterday directed that repolling in the Yali polling station would be held today. Repolling in the remaining four polling stations would likely to be held tomorrow.

Repolling at Yali polling station was necessitated following complaints of snatching of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) from the booth by some miscreants.
