New Delhi, Oct 22: Congress today welcomed the Centre's decision to hold talks with Hurriyat Conference to resolve the Jammu and Kashmir problem saying the party has always been in favour of such a dialogue. "Congress party fully supports the Centre's decision to hold talks with Hurriyat. It has always been in favour of talks," party spokesman Abhishek Singhvi told reporters.
The Centre today decided that Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani will talk to Hurriyat chairman Abbas Ali Ansari on the Kashmir issue. Bureau Report
