Car bomb kills five in northern Iraq
Khan Bani Saad (Iraq), Nov 22: Five Iraqis were killed and at least nine wounded early today when a car bomb hit a police station in the small town of Khan Bani Saad north of the capital, police said.

"Around 7.40 am (1010 IST), a car packed with
explosives went off in front of the police station. It was not
a suicide bombing,” said officer Hussein Jari.
Just minutes later, an explosion left a large crater outside a police station in the town of Baquba, further to the north. There were fewer casualties in that blast but details were not immediately available. Bureau Report
