New Delhi, Feb 27: A Delhi court today granted a last opportunity to Bharti Yadav, the London-based daughter of parliamentarian D P Yadav, to appear in the Nitish Katara murder case as witness. Additional sessions Judge J M Malik said if Bharti did not appear on April 21, 2004, a non-bailable warrant(NBW) could be issued against her.

The court had issued several summons to Bharti, who fled to England after the murder of her boy-friend Nitish, allegedly by her brothers Vikas and Vishal at Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh.

Bharti had applied to the court to record her statement through video conference, which the court had rejected.
