Patna, July 09: A senior minister Gulam Sarwar resigned from the Bihar Ministry asking Chief Minister Rabri Devi to accept it with immediate effect. Sarwar, who held the agriculture portfolio told reporters here today that he had resigned last night after strongly protesting against non-inclusion of Urdu in CBSE.
He also resented nomination of syndicate members in the Rajendra agriculture university, Pusa, without his consent.
Sarwar said he had sent his resignation letter to the Chief Minister requesting her to forward it to Governor V C Pande for acceptance.
