Lucknow, Sept 13: Former State Minister Amarmani Tripathi was again grilled by the CBI team probing the poetess Madhumita Shukla murder case, CBI sources said here today. Tripathi was summoned to the CBI office at Indira Nagar yesterday and was quizzed for over five hours about his role in the high profile case, sources said. The CBI sleuths had earlier grilled Tripathi in New Delhi and had also questioned Tripathi's wife, Madhumani, at Gorakhpur.
Madhumita Shukla was shot dead by unidentified assailants at her posh Paper Mill Colony residence on May 9 last. The case was handed over to the CBI by the then Mayawati government after her family members expressed doubts over impartiality of the state police and demanded a probe by the premier investigating agency.
