38 IPS officials reshuffled in Rajasthan
Jaipur, May 17: In a major reshuffle, Rajasthan government today shifted 38 IPS officers, including Superintendents of Police of 23 districts.
Jaipur, May 17: In a major reshuffle, Rajasthan government today shifted 38 IPS officers, including Superintendents of Police of 23 districts.
Director General Police, Prisons, Balbhadra Singh has
been posted as DGP Anti-Corruption Department, a post lying
vacant since transfer of V K Hansuka.
Additional DGP, reorganisation and technology, V B Singh has been promoted as DGP and posted as Director, Special Crime branch, Jaipur.
G S Rajagopal, awaiting posting order, has been made Additional DGP, security and Anti-Corruption Department, in place of A S Gill who has been shifted as additional DGP, Prisons.
Superintendents of Police of 23 districts and SPs of CID (Intelligence), Jaipur, and Government Railway Police, Jodhpur, were among those reshuffled.
SPs of Anti-Corruption Department posted at Jaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner and Bharatpur, besides, principal of the police training centre in Jodhpur and Assistant Inspector General of Police, Jaipur, have also been transferred.
The state government also promoted an IAS officer Ravi Shankar Srivastava in super-time pay scale and posted him as a member of the revenue board in Ajmer. Bureau Report
