New Delhi, Dec 01: BJP's chief ministerial candidate Madan Lal Khurana today cast his vote at his Moti Nagar assembly constituency and alleged that rival Congress Party was "trying to create problems". Rejecting Congress' charges of "bogus voting", he alleged Congress workers were distributing certain poll slips to defame BJP and said that he had complained to police seeking a probe on the issue.

"Congress itself has stage-managed the whole episode to create trouble to wean away voters here when they know the situation is favourable to our party," Khurana said after casting his ballot at a polling booth in Kirti Nagar area.

Khurana, who has been elected 10 out of 11 times from the area, said his rival contestant Alka Lamba of Congress "knows she enjoys no local support" in the constituency.
"She could not even get local polling agents and had to hire them from Panipat and Himachal Pradesh," he claimed.

On pre-poll projections favouring Congress, Khurana said that these would be "reversed when results come out" and "BJP would gain comfortable majority".
