London, May 21: The International Cricket Council (ICC) will hold an emergency tele-conference today to decide on the issue of Test status for the Zimbabwe-Australia Test series, which begins tomorrow.
The ICC members, who will vote on the issue, will be from the 10 Test playing countries, including BCCI chief Jagmohan Dalmiya.

Earlier on Friday, the Zimbabwe Cricket Union (ZCU) said it would include five of the rebel cricketers, including sacked captain Heath Streak, for the Tests against Australia.

However, the players have refused to play.

The ICC is worried about letting the Australia-Zimbabwe Test series go ahead with a second string team because it would be a poor advertisement for the game. Bureau Report
