Hyderabad, Nov 13: For Stephen Fleming, it was a different experience as about 400 budding cricketers thronged the high-profile Hyderabad Public School this evening to get some first-hand tips from the Kiwi skipper. Clad in blue jeans and black t-shirt, Fleming, in a refreshingly relaxing mood, spent about an hour with the enthusiastic youngsters and gave them quite a few lessons in taking stance, having proper grip and maintaining body balance in executing drives.
The hour-long training session attracted hundreds of boys though many others had to wait outside as the captain had limited time.
The New Zealanders landed in the city well in advance for the last and crucial league encounter against India during the ongoing tri-series for the TVS Trophy, on November 15.
Fleming, who has made it a point to address the media only at official briefings, stuck to the formula, but an enthusiastic scribe took a long shot, asking the black cap if his team was under pressure. And the Kiwi captain shot back ''pressure? what pressure?''
The youngsters were strictly instructed not to pose queries about the match, but to stick to taking a tip or two from the experienced international.
