New Delhi, Nov 01: A high profile prostitution racket has been busted in Sahibabad area, adjoining Delhi, with the arrest of 14 people, including a model and a bank manager, police said today. Seven call-girls, a woman kingpin and six customers were arrested in a raid at a house in Ramprasth residential colony last evening, Superintendent of Police (Ghaziabad) Umesh Kumar Srivastava told a news agency. The raid was carried out after electronic surveillance and tapping of phones gave indication about the racket being run by 45-year-old Geetanjali in her house, he said. Among those arrested were Payal, a model for a Delhi-based cosmetic company, manager of State Bank of India B K Ahuja and an inspector of Municipal Corporation of Delhi Mukesh, Srivastava said. Four businessmen Parminder Singh, Suresh Garg, Raj Kumar and Roshan Lal were also arrested during the raid, he said.

The police official said the racket was in operation for the last seven months and the kingpin would charge between Rs 2,000 and Rs 4,000 for each girl.

For the model, she would charge Rs 5,000 upwards, he said, adding the customers were mainly rich and high-profile people.


The girls were also supplied to customers at outstation locations, Srivastava said.


Police recovered four luxury cars and 10 mobile phones from the premises.
