Laloo`s bail in fodder scam case extended
Patna, Oct 21: The Patna High Court today extended till the first week of November the provisional bail of Rashtriya Janata Dal president Laloo Prasad Yadav in a fodder scam case.

While extending Yadav's provisional bail in the fodder scam case no. Rc 63 A/96, justice Shashank Kumar Singh said that the regular bench headed by Justice Narayan Roy would
decide on his bail petition.
Justice Singh was hearing the petition in the absence of Justice Roy, who did not attend the court. The RJD supremo's bail in the case relating to fraudulent withdrawal of about Rs 50 lakh from the Bhagalpur treasury was to end tomorrow.
Justice Roy on April 22 rejected the regular bail plea of Yadav in the case and instead extended his provisional bail till October 22, 2003.
P N Pandey pleaded Yadav's case. It was opposed by CBI counsel Rakesh Kumar.
