Sao Paulo, Mar 11: Brazilian number two Flavio Saretta followed Kuerten's lead yesterday as did number three Andre Sa.
''I'm making this decision because I don't agree with the CBT and the current situation that tennis is in,'' said Saretta in a statement.
''It was a difficult decision because I've always been very proud of playing for my country. But I can't be an accomplice to the current state of affairs.''
Oncins, who said he had always dreamed of captaining his country, said he had initially accepted the job because he believed he could improve the situation.
''The only thing I wanted was to fight for the players,'' he said.

He added: ''I don't know what the cbt will do now. We can't get to the point of losing by walkover.''

Before Oncins's resignation, Nastas had issued a statement saying he would not give in to pressure and would see out his mandate, which runs until the end of the year.
