Five Congress(D) MLAs keen to join Arunachal BJP
Itanagar, Nov 05: Five of the seven Congress(D) legislators have expressed their willingness to join BJP, a major partner of the ruling United Democratic Front (UDF) government in Arunachal Pradesh, newly-elected state unit president Taba hare said today.

Hare, who assumed office today after his unanimous
election yesterday told a press conference here that the five
legislators handed over letters addressed to BJP president
Venkaiah Naidu for the purpose to V Satish, organisational
incharge of the north east unit of the BJP when the latter
came here yesterday to oversee the election.
The joining of the five MLAs will further strengthen BJP which has 32 MLAs in the 60-member house, hare said.
He, however, did not disclose the names of the five Congress-D legislators but party sources said at least four of them are ministers.
