Army doctors treat 400 patients in Udhampur
Jammu, July 06: Army doctors have treated about 400 patients, including women and children, at a three-day medical camp in remote villages of Udhampur district in Jammu and Kashmir, a defence spokesman said here today.
Jammu, July 06: Army doctors have treated about 400 patients, including women and children, at a three-day medical camp in remote villages of Udhampur district in Jammu and Kashmir, a defence spokesman said here today.
A team of army doctors, including a lady doctor, provided
free medical check up and medicines to people of the villages
of Bhaga, Shikari, Sungri, Dubri, Angrala and Badr at the camp
which was organised at Sahr village in Mahore Tehsil of the
district, he said.
The civil administration provided all possible assistance to the medical camp which concluded yesterday, he said, adding that the camp benefited over 400 people of the region. Army dedicated the newly constructed dispensary to the people at a ceremony attended by J&K Minister of State for Agriculture Aijaz Ahmed and senior military and civil officials.
