New Delhi, Mar 02: Asserting that the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya would take place with the help of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani today said harmony would be maintained in the process. ''The efforts to achieve an amicable solution to the problem during the last six months are proving to be significant and something positive is going to come out soon,'' he said while addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here today.
''Mandir bhi banega aur sauhard bhi rahega (the temple will be constructed and harmony will also be maintained),'' he added.
The court verdict, parliamentary decision and an amicable settlement through negotiations between leaders of the two concerned parties were the three options for solution to the Ayodhya problem. ''The government thinks the third option as enduring and most favourable,'' he said.
In reply to a question, the Deputy Prime Minister denied that the solution to the temple issue could worked out before the Lok Sabha elections. ''It is not advisable to talk to any of the parties before the polls because the initiative will be linked to the electoral politics which is wrong,'' he said.
Mr Advani, who today unveiled his plans to undertake a two-phase countrywide 'Bharat Uday Yatra', said his 'Rath Yatra' in 1990 was aimed at the construction of Ram temple. He said the BJP would see to it that the Ram temple would be constructed in an amicable manner. Bureau Report
