Indore, Nov 17: Denying any "gameplan" in the episode involving BJP leader Dilip Singh Judeo, the Congress today said the issue will figure prominently in the coming assembly elections in five states. "It is another episode in the series of corruption charges levelled against BJP," head of Congress' media committee for polls in Madhya Pradesh Suresh Pachouri said here.
"First the people have seen the former BJP president Bangaru Laxman, now they are watching Judeo, which is the next episode in the series of charges of corruption levelled against the BJP," the senior leader said, demanding action against the minister under Prevention of Corruption Act.
However, he denied that it was a "gameplan" of his party, as alleged by the BJP, saying the Congress has nothing to with it.
It will be an issue during the coming assembly polls in the five states, especially in Chhatisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, where Judeo was billed as a 'star campaigner', Pachouri said.
