HCL Perot to invest Rs 30 crore in upgradation
New Delhi, Mar 21: Anticipating more outsourced work from its global customers, software services company HCL Perot has firmed up plans to invest about Rs 30 crore in upgrading its four development centres in the country and overseas over the next 12 months.

"We have two major initiatives currently -- setting up a development centre in Dallas in US and upgradation of infrastructure at the existing software development centres at Noida, Bangalore, London and Singapore", C P Gurnani, COO, HCL Perot, said.
"The upgradation will cost about Rs 30 crore", he said while adding the company is finalising its plans for a development centre in Dallas (US) and the investment for that centre will be separate, he said.
The company's decision for the upgradation drive is aimed at undertaking complex and mission critical solutions for the global customers and serving its new verticals like healthcare, retail and government better, he said.
HCL Perot is anticipating a growth rate of 30 per cent in calender 2003, gurnani said while adding the demand would come from verticals like healthcare. Bureau Report
