Mumbai, Sept 02: Zee News editor and news analyst Alka Saxena has been conferred the prestigious "Hindi Academy Sahityakaar Samman" for journalist of the year 2003-04. Saxena, is the first woman editor as well as programming head of a news channel and is currently working with Zee News.
The award will be presented at a function in Delhi on September 6.
She had also received the "Best Young Journalist Award" 2002-03 from the Institute of Journalism.
