According to a report by India.com, although Khan is in support of surrogacy – he says there are some key aspects that need to be analyzed.

Citing the possibility of commercial surrogacy being misused, Khan said that it needs to be regularized as it is done in some other countries.

The actor was quoted saying, “It should be regulated. When I was having my surrogate baby, I did a lot of study on it and realised that a lot of countries have regulated the procedure.”

Giving his own example, he said although he had experienced the joy of having children before his surrogate son AbRam was born in 2013, there are many parents who cannot enjoy the pleasure of being parents. Therefore, if surrogacy as a procedure can be used by all those who are willing to have children, he is all okay with it.
