Man shoots dead his family, commits suicide
Lucknow, June 24: An assistant engineer, working with CPWD, shot dead his wife and three children before committing suicide at his Gomtinagar residence in the city last night, police sources said here today.
Lucknow, June 24: An assistant engineer, working with CPWD, shot dead his wife and three children before committing suicide at his Gomtinagar residence in the city last night, police sources said here today.
The deceased, R S Chaudhry, shot dead his wife Indrawati,
daughter Deepika and two sons, Gaurav and Vaibhav, before
pointing the revolver at himself.
Initial investigations reveal that Chaudhry was depressed for last few days and was not in a state of good health, police said.
Chaudhry was also under treatment as per some medical prescriptions recovered from his car and house, police said.
A suicide note stating that Chaudhry, himself, was responsible for the act, and no one should be harassed, was recovered.
