New Delhi, Feb 26: The US-based air transport world magazine has awarded Singapore Airlines (SIA) its prestigious Passenger Service Award for 2004. ''In an age when airlines are delivering less and less service, SIA never stops reaching for the skies, always on the lookout for new ways to satisfy its customers,'' said the magazine's editors when the award was announced.
Meanwhile, the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) said that SIA has won the 2004 PATA Gold Award in the international air carrier category.
The airline was selected for its fabulous offer campaign, a global initiative to revive air travel to Singapore after the outbreak of SARS had been brought under control.
