New Delhi, Nov 11: The Supreme Court today upheld the validity of controversial government pension scheme by which a certain percentage of an employer's contribution to the provident fund is diverted for pension purposes. A bench comprising Justice S Rajendra Babu and Justice K G Balakrishnan, however, said the matter pertaining to those organisations which have better pension schemes, as compared to the government scheme, would be examined separately.
