Mumbai, Sept 23: Percept D'Mark, an event management company, has dragged Indian skipper Saurav Ganguly to court for committing alleged breach of contract. The suit, filed in the Mumbai High Court, is likely to come up for hearing tomorrow. Ganguly had entered into a three-year agreement with percept which expired yesterday. He has reportedly signed with another player management agency. Percept contended in its suit that Ganguly had committed a breach of contract.
According to the event management company, the first right of refusal at the time of renewal of contract and the right to match any offer that was made to Ganguly vests solely with percept D'Mark. This had not been complied with, the suit alleged.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Lal, Chief Executive Officer and executive director of percept, said efforts were being made for a compromise between the two sides and said he was hopeful of a positive outcome.
