Hyderabad, June 14: A PWG naxal couple surrendered before the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Hyderabad range, here today. K Ramulu alias Shankar (27), a commander, and his wife Neelamma alias Kavitha (22), a deputy commander, were involved in various offences including murders and blasting, DIG C R Naidu told newspersons here. The couple was present on the occasion. While Ramulu, who worked as commander of special guerrilla squad, carried a reward of Rs 50,000, Neelamma, deputy commander of Krishnapatti squad, carried a reward of Rs 20,000, Naidu added.
