Women are expected to be more well behaved: Jennifer Lopez

Los Angeles: Speaking about the sexism that she has experienced in showbiz, actress-singer Jennifer Lopez says women are expected to be more well-behaved than men or they earn a monikar of being a diva.
Lopez says there have been times when she has struggled to voice her opinion and at times she was made to feel that she was acting difficult whereas boys would get away with things far worse.
"I've always been fascinated by how much more well behaved we have to be than men. I did get a moniker of being a diva, which I don't deserve.
"We are not allowed to have certain opinions or be a certain way, or be passionate," she said during an actresses roundtable with the Hollywood Reporter.
Despite her star influence, Lopez said she still feels "sometimes crippled to voice (her) opinion," due to the industry's boys club.
The actress, 46, said she would see men being rude to a crew and it did not matter but she would be made to feel apologetic for turning up late even for fifteen minutes.
