Lok Sabha speaker G M C Balayogi is likely to hold a meeting of leaders of all political parties this week to discuss security in the wake of the terrorist attack on Parliament. The meeting will be scheduled after the special discussion on home minister L K Advani's statement on the December 13 attack is completed, Lok Sabha sources said.
The report of the expert group on Parliament security, under chairmanship of Suresh Roy, joint commissioner of police, Delhi, will be discussed at the meeting.
Meanwhile, government does not propose to cut short the winter session of Parliament by adjourning it sine die and is likely to let it run the entire course till December 21, highly placed sources said. Government is apparently not in favour of ending the session on a confrontationist note though it would gauge the opposition's mood on Wednesday before chalking out the business in Parliament till December 21.
