Swiss Foreign Minister Joseph Deiss arrived in New Delhi on Sunday on a three-day visit for talks with Indian leaders to review the entire range of bilateral ties and explore prospects of stepping up economic cooperation. Deiss, who is on a four nation visit that includes Pakistan, Bhutan and Afghanistan, will on Monday have wide-ranging discussions with external affairs minister Jaswant Singh on regional, international and issues of mutual concern.

The progress in the ongoing international campaign against terrorism, situation in South Asia and developments in West Asia are expected to figure in the parleys.
He will stress on political support for the stabilisation process in Afghanistan the region, a Swiss Embassy release said.
The Swiss minister will be briefed on the programmes of the Swiss development cooperation in India. He will also meet the Swiss business community and the Swiss citizens residing in India. Bureau Report
