GG Auto sets up office in US
New Delhi, Aug 19: The Mumbai-based GG Automotive Gears on Tuesday announced that it is setting up a representative office at Rockville in the US to cater to its US-based clients.
The representative office will mainly cater to the north American market for heavy-duty gears and gearboxes for railroad, defence and industrial applications.
The company further stated that in the process of potential supplier assessment, GG Auto has been selected as the prominent locomotive transmission gear manufacturer in India by General Motors.
This comes on the heels of the company announcing that it has procured a trial order from WKT of Latin America. The initial trial order of 38 diesel engines is valued at $11,000.
The company will be supplying these materials against the Letters of Credit and it expects orders to the tune of $5 million annually. Bureau Report
